Chi Kung

The word Chi Kung literally means "energy work".  It is a system of gentle movements, postures, breathing techniques with focused intent.

Chi Kung is designed to regain health, maintain health and increase vitality.

Diaphragmatic breathing is an important aspect of Chi Kung practice.  Breathing this way allows more oxygen into the blood, improving circulation, and restoring normal ph balance, which can only be maintained when sufficient oxygen is present in the blood.  This combined with gentle movements, massages the internal organs, stimulating digestive juices leading to better digestion and absorption of nutrients.

Acidity and insufficient oxygen are the two primary conditions of imbalance causing cells to mutate.  We can use these techniques as "preventative medicine" in our daily lives to boost our immune system and oxygenate the blood and restore balance to the gut.
